Can San Diego Comic Con expand to a second week end?
Twitter has been buzzing the last 10 days or more about Coachella Music Fest. People are tweeting about Must see performances, meet-ups, and parties, while videos have gone viral about Tupac’s 3D performance, 15 years after he was laid to grave. And if that wasn’t enough, last weekend’s event will have a virtual encore presentation, with the same music acts playing the very next weekend, at the same venue. Given the “extended experience” of the 2012 Coachella show, it immediately makes me wonder if Comic Con International San Diego could do the same thing, and expand into a second week of programming.
